Our Story
Imagine Artful Things
In the Fall of 1983, Imagine opened its doors. Over the years it has come to symbolize a shop where you can let your mind go wandering to find the unusual, whimsical, beautiful, functional, wearable and wonderful.
As Imagine grew, so did the product mix, clothing has become a big part of the shop and has added more intrigue and another “layer” to the shopping experience. We think of our clothing as an important extension of Imagine…from the contemporary design of Oska, the architectural lines of Japanese designers, Ji-U and Moyuru, to the one-of-a-kind look and whimsy of Krista Larson and Ewa Walla, we are still keeping our passion for nothing ordinary.
Heard at Imagine “I’m looking for something special, I don’t know what I’m looking for, but I know it’s here,” “What a happy place…I just love shopping here,” “It’s like I’m in a museum”, “I just bought diamond earrings and a rubber chicken!”
The Village is such a unique and beautiful spot. People from all over the world visit the area making Imagine an international/neighborhood shop.
